OK
So you want to know how to chrono your marker, for your own tinkering needs, or you bought one for outlaw games
well here's how
Step1: Got to the safe aria, were you chrono, make sure no one is behind, or in front of the chrono, except you.
Step2: Now bring your guns wrench and turn on the chrono, and clear the old speeds.
Step3: If you have not chrono'd the marker before, turn the velocity screw all the way down, because most factory settings are very high.
Step4: Put the markers barrel tip 2 inches in front of your chrono.
Step5: Take one shot, see if it is even close to your fields limit, if not, turn it up.
Step6:once your around the limit, and you turned it up, take 3 shots, if in the right spot, take a few more shots, just to see the consistency, and if it goes over the limit after a few shots
C02 Users: Re chrono your marker at least 3 times in the day your playing, because the inconsistency of C02. It could be very dangerous, C02 had 15fps+/- rate. You MUST re-chrono after getting fills
Places to buy inexpencive chronos:
www.actionvillage.com
www.justpaintball.com
Hpa and lpa users: You may want to re-chrono mid-day
ALSO: If your marker has a regulator, it will take 3 shots, for it to be at the right pressure.
Some verry strong replacement lenses are:
Vforce tests their goggles with a 12guage shotgun from about 20 feet
JT shoots 1/4" steel balls at their masks at 400 fps.
Empire shoots steel balls ar the lenses at 450 fps from 10 feet for testing.
All the lenses above have not broken at those speeds.
ALL WAYS CHECK WITH YOUR FIELDS fPS LIMITS AND RULES
NEVER GET YOUR VELOCITY ABOVE 300FPS, A PAINTBALL CAN GO THROUGH A LENS ABOVE THAT SPEED, AND CAUSE INDURY OR DEATH. ALSO BREAK SMALL BONES, FINGERS AND WRIST BONES.
